The thematic framework of this work is the Bosniaks of the Krajina epic poem by Muja Velić, specifically the way of representing the female narrative identity in his poems. This epic singer, originally from the area of Bihać (more precisely from the town of Kamenica), in a skillful way, with stylized formulaic expressions and knowledge of tradition, managed to portray the historical, social and cultural conditions of that time in his epic poetry. The aim of this work is to question the female experience expressed through these poems under the hypothesis that the author has succeeded in presenting a female identity. By interpreting and analyzing his songs, the representation of the identity of female subjects in the epic-centric society of that time
will be carried out, then the function and role of women will be questioned and how they are profiled in the private, intimate sphere of life, and in what way in parties, fights, weddings and marriages.
